Debate

At each Refocus on Recovery international conference, we hold a debate on a globally topical issue. In 2019 our topic will be:

This house believes that there is no place for compulsion in a rights-oriented mental health system

Alison Faulkner and Peter Bartlett will speak for the motion, and John Copping and Vicky Stergiopoulos will speak against the motion. The debate will be chaired by Samson Tse.

The debate will be streamed live, with viewers from around the world able to submit questions live using the sli.do application (available here: https://www.sli.do/  ) using the event code #RonR2019.

At the start of the debate, please use your smartphone and visit slido.com and enter the event code #RonR2019.
